Geoffrey Ndegwa is a PhD holder in Geography, specializing in Environment and natural resources management, from the University of Passau in Germany. Geoffrey also holds a MSc. degree in Renewable Energy Management from Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and a BSc. degree in Wood Science and Technology for Moi University in Kenya.

Geoffrey Ndegwa has skills on: Environment; natural resources management; monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEAL); renewable energy; policy development; livelihoods assessment; qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting; markets and products value chain analysis and development. He has over 14 cumulative years of working experience with various institutions/organizations in Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Germany. Over the last nine years, Geoffrey Ndegwa has been working/consulting and conducting research in the field of Environment, Climate Change, Agroforestry, Natural Resources Management, Renewable Energy, Land Use and Land Use Change, Dry land ecosystems and Forestry.
